SGO Central: your tax dollars to kids, not the government. Contact Us

How It Works:

Under the new Educational Choice for Children Act, employees can direct up to $1,700 of their federal income tax each year to a non-profit Scholarship Granting Organization (SGO) — instead of to the federal government.

The SGO Central platform makes this easy. Our Participating Employers agree to let employees withhold that $1,700 gradually from their paychecks, while reducing their federal tax withheld by the same amount. That means employees can make a full $1,700 annual donation to an SGO of their choice — with no change to their take-home pay.

Each Member SGO has a page on the SGO Central Marketplace, where employees choose where their donation goes.

Every quarter, Participating Employers send the accumulated donations to the selected SGOs.

It's automatic. It's seamless. It's scalable.
