Become a Participating Employer
If you’re an employer, learn what it takes to join SGO Central as a Participating Employer.
Would you rather... send your tax dollars to the IRS or to an organization of your choice that funds K-12 scholarships?
Thanks to the Educational Choice for Children Act, you can redirect up to $1,700 of your federal income tax each year to a non-profit Scholarship Granting Organization (SGO)—instead of sending it to the IRS.
SGO Central makes this process simple. Participating Employers allow employees to withhold up to $1,700 from their paychecks, reducing federal tax withheld by the same amount. You donate the full amount to an SGO of your choice—with no change to your take-home pay.
Every Member SGO is featured in the SGO Central Marketplace, where you choose your recipient.
Each quarter, employers send the collected donations directly to the selected SGOs.
Automatic. Seamless. Scalable.
